Terms of Reference

If you opened this while creating an account, return to the form. Your answers stay filled in except the password.

These terms cover how we expect people to treat each other, account use, payment-stage obligations, booking conditions, consumer disclosures, compliance controls, and dispute handling. Production counsel should review this text before a public launch.

What we expect of you

Using OneGaming — the website, the app, The Inn, Training Room, Gatherings, and Explore — means you agree to these expectations. They sit alongside the payment, age, and booking rules further down this page.

Treat people with respect

  • Treat other players, coaches, staff, guardians, and children with respect. Disagreement is allowed. Humiliation, slurs, threats, and pile-ons are not.
  • Do not harass, bully, stalk, sexually harass, or follow someone around chats, voice, or gatherings after they have asked you to stop.
  • Do not use humour, “banter”, or a game persona as cover for harm.
  • Hate speech and dehumanising language aimed at a protected characteristic are forbidden.

Follow the law where you are

  • Follow the laws that apply to you, and the laws of the place where an in-person gathering happens.
  • Do not use OneGaming to commit, plan, advertise, or pay for a crime.
  • Do not post, request, or share illegal content. We remove it and may report it to the police or child-protection services.
  • OneGaming is not a gambling product. Do not run, promote, or target anyone — especially anyone under 18 — with betting, wagering, or cash-out schemes here.

Keep your account honest and yours

  • Give accurate details when we ask (age, contact routes, and an emergency contact if you host an in-person gathering).
  • Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account unless you report a takeover promptly.
  • Do not impersonate another person, a coach, a public figure, or OneGaming staff.
  • Do not create extra accounts to evade a block, a ban, or a safety control. Do not sell, share, or rent an account.

Gamer tags and other people’s privacy

  • Online, people see your gamer tag, not your legal name. Do not try to uncover, publish, or demand someone else’s legal name, address, school, workplace, phone number, or payment details.
  • Choose a gamer tag you can stand behind. Offensive, impersonating, or illegal tags can be changed or removed.
  • A legal name may appear only for accepted attendees of the same in-person gathering. Do not take that name off the gathering and post it online.
  • Do not share screenshots or recordings that expose another person’s private details, guardian information, or a child’s identity.

Children and guardians

  • You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. An account that has not established its age is treated as a child, not as an adult.
  • Guardians are responsible for the children they approve and for the permissions they grant.
  • Adults must not ask children for private contact off the platform, photos, or meetings that go around guardian controls.
  • At a gathering with children, the list shows guardians — not the children — until the in-person double-check is complete. Do not try to work around that.

The Inn, chats, votes, and discovery

  • No spam, scams, phishing, malware, or unsolicited selling.
  • Do not manipulate votes, ratings, friendliness scores, or discovery. Fake reviews and shell-account boosting are forbidden.
  • Do not circumvent blocks, stranger-contact limits, or report tools.
  • Report abuse in good faith. Do not file false reports to harass someone, and do not “name and shame” in public channels.

Gatherings, online and in person

  • You are responsible for your conduct at a gathering, including venue rules and the law of that place.
  • OneGaming lists and coordinates events. We do not supervise the venue and we are not a chaperone.
  • Do not pressure anyone to attend, stay, share a live location, or meet in private.
  • Hosts of in-person gatherings must keep a usable emergency contact and follow the child and guardian rules.
  • If a gathering feels unsafe, leave and report it. Cancel in good faith if you cannot attend.
  • Do not bring weapons, illegal drugs, or anything that endangers other people.

Training Room

  • Treat coaches and trainees professionally. Coaching misconduct — bullying, no-shows after taking a booking, or refusing agreed content — can close those features.
  • Do not use ratings or reviews to extort, harass, or discriminate.
  • Honour the booking, cancellation, and recording-consent rules shown at checkout.
  • Do not republish a session recording unless OneGaming licensed that publication.

Content you post

  • You must have the right to post what you post. Do not upload other people’s work, voice, or image without permission.
  • No sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, and no sexual content aimed at children.
  • Do not post content that promotes terrorism, violent crime, or suicide or self-harm.
  • We may remove content that breaks these expectations even if it is legal where you live.

If these expectations are broken

  • We may warn, mute, restrict posts or bookings, suspend, or close an account. Serious or illegal harm can be reported to law enforcement or child-protection services.
  • If we contact you about a safety or payment review, cooperate. Do not destroy evidence or open a new account to continue.
  • These expectations do not remove rights you have under consumer or data-protection law.

Minimum age

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a OneGaming account.
  • An account that has not established its age is treated as a child in the youngest band, not as an adult.
  • Under-16 accounts cannot start stranger communication. 16–17 accounts have that permission, and it starts off.
  • Age is not a profile field you can edit. It is declared once and held as year-month only.

Payment platform model

  • This closed preview uses a local payment simulator. No live card charge is taken in TestFlight or on the login-gated website until a licensed payment provider is contracted.
  • Checkout must disclose merchant/seller of record for each transaction type.
  • Authorization is not final settlement; reversals and delays can occur under issuer/PSP rules.
  • Reserves/holds may be applied for dispute, fraud, sanctions, or AML controls.
  • Unsupported currencies by jurisdiction are blocked until permitted rails are added.

UK, EU, and US coverage

  • UK/EU profiles apply strong-customer-authentication posture and digital-service cooling-off acknowledgements.
  • US profile uses risk-based step-up authentication and money-transmission compliance notes.
  • Cross-border transfer controls and sanctions checks are enforced in wallet transfer and withdrawal flows.
  • Consumer cancellation, refund windows, and dispute handling are shown before booking-payment continuation.

Liability and enforcement

  • Users remain responsible for fraudulent use, prohibited payment activity, and false dispute behavior.
  • OneGaming may pause, review, or reject payment actions when compliance thresholds are triggered.
  • Community safety violations and payment abuse can result in capability restrictions or suspension.

Training recording and publication terms

  • All training sessions are recorded on OneGaming infrastructure as part of core service delivery.
  • Public release requires coach and trainee consent in separate pre-session and post-session windows.
  • OneGaming is the sole host for published recordings; external reposting is prohibited unless licensed by OneGaming.
  • Revenue split for approved publication is fixed at OneGaming 20%, coach 75%, trainee 5%.
  • Coaches may set public-candidate or private-only pricing; private-mode surcharges after publication decline must be disclosed at booking.
  • Under-18 publication remains disabled unless child and guardian each complete two independent disclaimer windows one week apart.
